iOS App – Passing Dish

This iOS app was created for Passing Dish, a family oriented company with the unique approach to preserving family traditions via recipes and the stories they tell. It is currently in beta testing in the Apple App store via their TestFlight app program.

This particular project started off as a design-only opportunity. Passing Dish had the idea for the app but need some research into how best to support the process of capturing family recipes and then sharing them in one’s own social network.

Once design began, I moved into blueprint wireframes to help solidify the process and get everyone on the same page.

Beyond the initial testing and process flow discovery, I decided to go ahead and create the first beta in code. I had been wanting to learn more about codeless platforms and decided on two; Adalo and AppGyver. These two platforms each offered pros and cons, I will have to write up a review soon and dive into these deeper at a later time.
